Strongly recommend for a date night

Cozy room, friendly staff, loved having a complimentary all-organic breakfast in a tiny but welcoming space, just a short distance from the nearest metro station.

The chocolate muffins and coffee at breakfast were delightful—perfect fuel for a day of city exploration! Plus, the place was super clean and quiet, making it an awesome getaway right in NYC. The staff was friendly too!

Though I had a slight hiccup with check-in since they needed 20 minutes to clean my room after I arrived, and it threw off my plans a bit.

The Chelsea Rooms NYC has a fantastic location, super close to public transit and major attractions. My room, a Deluxe Double Room, was compact but cleverly designed, with great storage options. I loved having a mini sink and a fridge in the room. The staff were friendly and made check-in a breeze, always ready to help out with suggestions. However, I faced a few issues. The breakfast selection felt limited, and even though it was healthy, I wished for more variety. The wifi was a bit inconsistent during my stay, which was frustrating at times. Also, a mini hot water kettle would have been a nice addition to the room. Still, I would choose this spot again when I come back to NYC for the reasonable price and excellent location.

You might run into other guests’ 'stuff. ' Breakfast setup at reception is a whole other story—two small lounges for a toast-and-cereal spread creates a bit of a scramble for a seat during busy hours, and the street noise can be relentless, despite those earplugs they hand out.
